I’m Javed Jeetoo, a self-taught photographer from Mauritius with a practice rooted in seascapes and street photography.

What began in 2018 as a creative break from corporate life has grown into a deep commitment to capturing scenes that hold both immediacy and quiet resonance.

I’m drawn to the island’s rugged coastlines and the fishing boats that still anchor many coastal communities, an ongoing series I’ve been developing since 2019.

Street photography takes me into the heart of places like Port Louis market, where movement, colour, and fleeting expressions tell their own layered stories. I’m also exploring the theme of the daily commute, framing moments through bus windows to reveal the rhythms of everyday life.

My work spans both personal projects and collaborative efforts, from drone cinematography for film to curated exhibitions. Since 2019, I’ve been the ambassador for Luminar Neo in Africa, an award-winning photo editing software.
